No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. Isaiah 54:17
David is one of my favorite examples of someone who took God at His word and believed what He said. As a youth, he kept his father's sheep and learned to fight killing lions and bears and he became proficient with a sling being his weapon of choice.
Goliath represents an impossible situation; in David's case, he was just another target for his sling even though he was a nine-foot behemoth trained in battle from a youth and armed to the teeth. This is a classic example of how the devil attacks us, with fear, doubt, and unbelief he accuses us and belittles us, but David didn't buy it he stood fast and believed God!
Do you have something in your life that looks impossible: sickness, depression, financial, or maybe a personal attack from someone? In any case with God, all things are possible, and no weapon or accusation can harm or defeat you in Jesus name!
This is a heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from Me, says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17
