Offer to God thanksgiving and pay your vows to the Most High. Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.” Psalm 50:14-15

One day, when I was ministering in the prison, I heard the voice of the Lord say, "There are only two groups of people, the caught and the un-caught!" The caught obviously were there in the prison, but the un-caught were the ones on the outside who were indeed sinners who had not repented but deserved prison!

The wrath (hot anger and displeasure) of God comes upon the disobedient, and the wages of sin is death! The Bible states that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and that is true, and so there is no difference between the ones in prison and the sinner on the outside. So we are all guilty before a holy God!

As we will see in the life of David in Psalm 51, he was in sin by committing adultery and murder, but justified his sin and remained un-caught. For one year, he enjoyed his new wife and their newborn son, not knowing he was walking in the judgment of an angry God, but because David belonged to the Lord, He would forgive him and deliver him from evil!

But to the wicked God says: “What right have you to declare My statutes, or take My covenant in your mouth, seeing you hate instruction and cast My words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him and have been a partaker with adulterers. You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit. You sit and speak against your brother; you slander your own mother’s son. These things you have done, and I kept silent; you thought that I was altogether like you, but I will rebuke you and set them in order before your eyes. “Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver: Whoever offers praise glorifies Me; and to him who orders his conduct aright I will show the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:16-23
