Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct (make smooth or straight) your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct (make smooth or straight) your paths. Proverbs 3:5,6
To follow the Lord is to trust in His leading in all things and not ever trust your own understanding of something which leads to fleshly human interpretation of His word! This will lead you to destruction and possibly death!
When I first got saved, I was a lead, follow or get out of the way kind of guy, in other words, a fool! I had a hard time learning to trust and hearing others always praying for His will before they would act until He called me one day in a graveyard and told me to choose whom I was going to serve for the rest of my life, praise God I chose Jesus!
So, you can continue to direct your own path which leads to death or you can choose the narrow path which leads to life in which is great blessing! The choice is yours, so choose life!
"I call Heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore, choose life, that both you and your descendants may live." Deuteronomy 30:19
