Let brotherly love continue. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:1,2

Years ago, I was teaching a Bible study on loving God and your neighbor. One afternoon after the study I was driving home and came to a stop sign and looked to the right and saw a man lying in the weeds. He was dirty and sunburned, a homeless street person.

I quickly turned onto the highway ignoring the man and the Holy Spirit spoke to me, "Were you just teaching on loving your neighbor?" Yes, Lord, I answered and turned back and picked the man up. It was about 45 minutes to our farm in the country and I began to question the man about how he ended up in the streets. As we drove, I began to think how I could help the man and then we came to the road that led to the farm.

As we turned onto the road to the farm the man abruptly said, "Let me out!" I said why?He told me he was afraid, and he had been on the streets a long time. I had just purposed in my heart to do all I could to help this man when he said, "Let me out!" I did and told him to go down the highway a few hundred yards to a men's mission and I would be back to help him.

I rushed home grabbed an armload of clothes and went back to the mission. When I got there, I asked everyone, "Where is the big man I sent down here, and they said, we haven't seen anyone!" I looked up and down the highway for the man when the scripture in Hebrews struck my heart, he's an angel! God had tested my heart to see if I believed what I was teaching and if I was serious about starting a residential ministry which I did, and God blessed it! PRAISE GOD!

But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. Hebrews 13:16
