Then Elijah said to all the people, “Come near to me.” So all the people came near to him. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the Lord had come, saying, “Israel shall be your name.”  I Kings 18:30,31

The main reason the spirit of Jezebel is so prevalent in the church today as well as multitudes of other demons wreaking havoc in people's lives is the fact that most churches, especially in America are built wrong! Jesus is our example and in order to defeat our enemies we must follow His lead!

In this Message we see that Elijah who was a type of Jesus yet to come in the future and in the aforementioned scripture He is building an altar, another type and shadow of His church yet to come and He is using twelve stones that represent twelve apostles. This is where the church has failed, apostles are the architects of the church and they have the blueprint, not the pastor who has been placed in the wrong gifting!

The number twelve represents the government of God and just as Satan has been able to assault the God ordained family because the woman was elevated above the man, so because of the faulty structure of the body of Christ he has been able to invade the church! Remember the New Testament churches were founded by apostles!

And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. I Corinthians 12:28
