Trials and tests are part of our walk with God. When we went to school growing up, we took tests to show what we had or hadn't learned, so it is with God. He tests us to see what we have learned.
I've survived many trials and tests in my journey; some I passed and some I failed miserably. Patience is not one of my virtues, and God has tested me numerous times in that area. Hopefully, now that I am older, I may be able to pass some of His tests.
When going through a trial, it is hard to have joy until you learn that His outcome is that all things work together for good! So, rejoice! The results of your trials and tests are wisdom and the knowledge that God loves you and desires for you to be perfect and complete in Him!
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:6-8
