It's a shame we have to be old to gain wisdom, and we have generations who sadly lack any, not to mention knowledge. But for those who are born again, we can gain wisdom and knowledge from the word of God given to us by the Holy Spirit, our Teacher.
The wise believer will increase his ability to learn and will attain wise counsel from other wise men. He who seeks the wise will be wise, but he who seeks the fool will be a fool! So, seek the Lord while He may be found, and learn from Him and accumulate wisdom and knowledge so that you will be considered wise in all your endeavors.
The reverent, patient, and humble fear of the Lord will open the door to wisdom and knowledge, giving you the abundant grace to learn from the Holy Spirit's teaching and gain supernatural wisdom and discernment.
A wise man will hear and increase learning, and a man of understanding will attain wise counsel, to understand a proverb and an enigma, the words of the wise and their riddles. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:5-7
