The Promises of God: Part CCXXII

When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all together with one accord in one place. Acts 2:1

According to the Old Testament, you would go to the day of the celebration of First Fruits, and beginning with that day, you would count off 50 days. The fiftieth day would be the Day of Pentecost. So, first fruits is the beginning of the barley harvest and Pentecost is the celebration of the beginning of the wheat harvest.

Pentecost is the celebration of the harvest, but this day would begin a new paradigm, the model of God's new body on the earth. Jesus was crucified and the veil of the old temple that separated man from God was torn in two from top to bottom by the angels. Man was free to enter the Holy of holies before the throne of the Most High.

The Seed was planted in 120 followers of the Lord Jesus and the Holy Spirit would fill them with His powerful anointing that would produce a spiritual harvest of 3000 souls! This was the beginning of the New Covenant Church of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Hebrews 4:16
