Jesus left us an example to follow when He commanded His disciples to wait for what He was to send them after He ascended to Heaven! One hundred twenty in total unity awaiting the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit in one accord.
There is great power in unity, for if one can put a hundred of the enemy to flight, two can put a thousand to flight. Years ago, in a men's group, one of the men did the math and found that twelve in agreement could put one hundred trillion to flight! I can't count that high, so I took His word for it, but I believe in the power and anointing that comes with unity!
Suddenly, there came a sound from Heaven, of a mighty rushing wind, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. As they went out into the streets, they spoke in tongues, interpreting what Peter was preaching, and three thousand were saved! That is the power that unity can bring, the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
It is like the dew of Hermon, descending upon the mountains of Zion; for there the Lord commanded the blessing— Life forevermore. Psalm 133:3
