The Holy Spirit sent Philip the evangelist to witness to an Ethiopian eunuch, a man of great authority under Candace, queen of the Ethiopians! Philip ran to him in his chariot who was reading Isaiah 53 and he began to preach Jesus to him, and he got saved and asked to be baptized!
I have only known one true evangelist personally and he was an anointed man of God who would witness to anyone! Tommy Shaw was a district attorney and the youngest judge in Oklahoma with multiple prison ministries! He would have thousands of gospel tracts printed and when he would enter a restaurant everyone in the place would receive one! There were several times when sitting at a table and the waitress would come up that he would ask her if she was thinking about getting saved.
Immediately they would tear up and give their life to Jesus! One night we went to a steakhouse and Tommy gave everyone a track and when we finished eating, he went into the kitchen and handed out tracks to the cooks and dishwashers. Then the manager came to us, and I figured we were going to jail but Tommy being a judge and district attorney talked his way out of trouble! He died at the age of fifty but used his time on earth to the glory of God!
So he commanded the chariot to stand still, and both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. Now when they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away, so that the eunuch saw him no more; and he went on his way rejoicing. Acts 8:38,39
