He who gives with liberality. Romans 12:8

Giving is a motivational gift led by the Holy Spirit for those who have allowed Him to take control of their assets. For the believer, everything we own, houses, land, money, everything, belongs to God.

New Testament giving is different from Old Testament giving in that we as believers are not under the law of the tithe. We are free from the law, and although the tithe (10%) still brings about financial blessings, there is a more excellent way! Spirit-led giving opens miraculous doors of opportunity for the believer to reap great returns and bless those whom they are giving to.

We are put on this earth to be a blessing to people by meeting their needs and by exhibiting the nature and character of God. His will is for us to be like Him, who gave all, even His very own life. There is much to learn in God's word about giving, but don't be deceived by those who have perverted the message by giving to get!

Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will never fail, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys. Luke 12:33
