He who teaches, in his teaching. Romans 12:7
Jesus was the supreme teacher of the Word of God who taught the gospel to His disciples and sent them with His word, sowing seeds of deliverance, healing, and salvation. The gift of teaching is one of the fivefold ministry gifts given by the Lord.
For one to teach, he must be taught by studying the scriptures and meditating on the word. There is a great need for sound biblical teaching in the body of Christ today. Jesus warned that in the last days there would be many false prophets and teachers leading people astray with perverse and distorted doctrines of demons!
Teachers must not interpret the scripture, for this is where they add to or take away the true meaning given by the Holy Spirit. The word of God is the divine interpretation given by the Holy Spirit and not one's own opinion.
And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. II Peter 1:19-21
