God's will for mankind is to be saved from their sins and escape the death sentence of Hell and damnation! God surely had patience with me, saved at 33 years old from a life of drugs and alcoholism, He had mercy on me.
Shortly after my conversion, I begin to tell my friends about Jesus. One day I went to the apartment of a friend that I ran around with and also did drugs with. When I got there, he was just leaving, and it was pouring rain, so I said come in I want to tell you something! We sat down and I shared with him how I had been saved. He looked at me with tears in his eyes and said, "I believe what you are saying but I am having too much fun!"
It wasn't long after that, he was coming home one night from partying and rolled his Suburban and was thrown out and it rolled over him. I got the call from his wife that he was in the hospital and so I went down, and he was on a respirator, unconscious and clinically dead. A nurse I knew from church came in and said to me, "The hearing is the last to go." Then the Lord said to me, "Lead him to me, and so I did, and he died," I don't know if he surrendered but I did all I could.
If you have never given your life and heart to Jesus, don't wait another second, surrender your life to Him, and repent of your sins lest you lose your soul and perish in everlasting fire!
But the Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. II Peter 3:10
