Reconcile is defined as restoring a friendship or a relationship. Jesus reconciled the world to Himself by His death, burial, and resurrection. We were once enemies, but He took it upon Himself to reconcile us by not imputing our sins against us.
Jesus has given us the word of reconciliation for us to also provide it to others, offering them the forgiveness of their sins, which in turn saves their souls from eternal damnation! We are ambassadors for Christ, carrying the message of salvation with a mandate to reap a harvest for the Kingdom of God.
Our ministry is a ministry of restoration, spreading the word of God to a lost and dying world steeped in sin and rebellion. Our logo carries our mission statement: Our message is to love, Our Mission is to tell, and Our mandate is to go.
Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God. For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. II Corinthians 5:20,21
