He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalm 91:3,4
He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings, you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. Psalm 91:3,4
Like a mother hen, or better yet a great eagle that covers her brood, God covers us from the storms of life and the attacks of our enemies! His word shields us from the flaming arrows that are aimed at us to distract us and draw us away from His truth!
We are covered with the golden cloud of His presence, His shekinah glory that the enemy cannot touch, nor trespass upon! I have seen it once, the night I was baptized in His Holy Spirit and when He descended into the sanctuary no one could move and all we could do was praise Him!
Surrounded by the shield of His glory we are protected from all evil and like a supernatural force-field no demon can enter. This is that secret place for us to dwell in, a golden cloud of His glory!
You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness, nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday. Psalm 91:5,6
