Behold, a ruler came and worshiped Him, saying, "My daughter has just died, but come and lay your hand on her and she will live." Matthew 9:18
There is absolutely nothing impossible for the Lord Jesus, His power and authority reign supreme! The ruler came to Him and worshiped Him, acknowledging that He was indeed Lord, and then asked Him to raise his daughter from the dead!
One day I was called to the hospital to pray for a young woman whose kidneys had failed and when I arrived the parents were with the doctor as he was telling them she was clinically dead and there was no hope. I went into her, and she was bright yellow on a respirator, so by faith, I prayed for her and left.
Jesus said that signs would follow those who believe, and although I didn't see a miracle immediately, that kept me humble. A couple of days later, I heard that the young woman had been healed and had left the hospital. Praise God!
When Jesus came into the ruler's house and saw the flute players and the noisy crowd wailing, He said to them, "Make room for the girl is not dead, but sleeping." And they ridiculed Him. But when the crowd was put outside, He went in and took her by the hand, and the girl arose. And the report of this went out into all the land. Matthew 9:23-26
