Matthew 7:13-14: “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” This passage emphasizes that following God requires intentionality and commitment, and only a few choose the path that leads to eternal life.
Normally, when adolescents reach puberty, the devil sets a trap or detour to lead the innocent down a path to destruction! "Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on," as the lyrics to Led Zeppelin's famous song state. I took the wrong path that totally changed my life and led to my total downfall into sex, drugs, and alcohol!
Millions take the broad road to destruction as the devil takes them by the hand and leads them to the gates of Hell! Don't be deceived, there is only one path to take, and that's the one that leads you to Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life!
To deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house leads down to death, and her paths to the dead; none who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life—so you may walk in the way of goodness and keep to the paths of righteousness. For the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; but the wicked will be cut off from the earth, and the unfaithful will be uprooted from it. Proverbs 2:16-22
