Then the devil brought Him to Jerusalem, set Him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, throw Yourself down from here. "For it is written: 'He shall give His angels charge over You, to keep You,' "And in their hands they shall bear You up, lest You dash Your foot against a stone.' " Luke 4:9-11

The devil is again trying to lead Jesus to doubt who He is, and he is even quoting the word of God, so don't ever think he won't pull out all the stops to deceive you. The apostle Paul warned us to beware of angels of light!
Satan was trying to tempt Jesus with pride knowing that if He did jump and the angels caught Him the people on the ground would exalt Him. But Jesus wouldn't allow it and rebuked him! "You shall not tempt the Lord your God." Jesus passed all the tests and would begin His ministry to mankind, tempted but proven to be the Son of the Most-High God!
Don't ever think that after you have passed a test Satan won't come back and pull the same thing on you again, he never gives up always using the same schemes, traps, and ploys to deceive you and defeat you in your walk with Jesus.
Now when the devil had ended every temptation, he departed from Him until an opportune time. Luke 4:13
