RESTORATION "Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, "whom Heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." RESTORATION
"Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord, "and that He may send Jesus Christ, who was preached to you before, "whom Heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God has spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:19-21
When one is born again he is restored spiritually as he was meant to be before man fell through the sin of Adam. The world was created to be a perfect place for God's new family until Satan entered and tempted them to sin and disobey God's laws!
We are born in sin receiving the curse of Adam, but when we are converted the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all unrighteousness. Our sins are wiped away and the generational curse is broken and we are restored to that original place of perfection in the Spirit. Although our flesh is still in a state of imperfection we are led to crucify it and walk after the Spirit seeking that place of total restoration!
One of the characteristics of a new creation is the total metamorphosis that has taken place where old things pass away and all things become new! From a worm to a beautiful butterfly is the transformation of a new convert where the new man is totally unrecognizable from his original state.
The first man was of the earth, made of dust; the second Man is the Lord from Heaven. As was the man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. And as we have born the image of the man of dust, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. I Corinthians 15:47-49
