The earth mourns and fades away, the world languishes and fades away; the haughty people of the earth languish. (to be or live in a state of depression or decreasing vitality) The earth is also defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, and broken the everlasting covenant. Isaiah 24:4-5
Jesus warned us that in the last days that lawlessness would increase, and most people's love would grow cold. Can I just tell you, we are there! The court systems are corrupt in that the police arrest someone for murder, rape, or being an illegal alien, and the next day, they are let out!
The Ten Commandments have been ripped from the halls of justice and the schools so that our children grow up being polluted with liberal doctrines! Churches have become entertainment centers to tickle the ears of their congregations and build their own kingdoms! Pride has filled the leaders of God's church, and prophets spew out great and wonderful things of peace and safety, never daring to speak truth to those in sin!
As the earth mourns and its condition grows worse by the day, the closer we are to the return of our Lord Jesus Christ! The entire planet reels to and fro from lawlessness and the sins of unrepentant men! Sickness, disease, and every malady you can think of, as well as millions who are possessed by devils, are suffering with the curse that is devouring the earth!
Therefore, the curse has devoured the earth, and those who dwell in it are desolate. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left. Isaiah 24:6
