Jesus loved us with a love that allowed Him to die for us, but do we have that same love for others? I remember many times in church services that the pastor would say, "Turn to your neighbor and sing, 'I love you with the love of the Lord!' No, I don't as I thought to myself, I don't even know this person!
This is why the world thinks the church is fake and only wants their money because talk is cheap! I can't tell you the times we would take people who were in our program struggling to get off drugs into churches and they would always say, "We are so glad brother that God has called you into this wonderful ministry, but what they were thinking was, "Boy, I'm glad he's doing that and not me!"
I can't complain though, God rescued me from sitting the rest of my spiritual life in a dead mausoleum filled with the corpses of dry and dusty church folks. Praise God I saw people saved, delivered and set free from a multitude of strongholds along with many signs, wonders and miracles!
"By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35
