The Ministry of Restoration

Our message is to love

            Our mandate is to go

And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses,
commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. II Timothy 2:2

The Bride, The Body, and the Church: Part XX

To another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. I Corinthians 12:10

The gift of tongues is much needed, but often overlooked as a valid and powerful tool in the body of Christ! Everyone when filled with the Holy Spirit can speak in a prayer language, a special supernatural heavenly communication between you and your heavenly Father.

This intimate language is only for you and God to empower you, encourage you, and to build your faith, and use it when you don't know what to pray! An example of tongues and interpretation is when the first church in Acts was all filled with the Holy Spirit and then went out into the streets praying in tongues and the people from out of town who came to celebrate Pentecost heard them praying and the Holy Spirit was interpreting their prayers for all those from other countries and 3000 were saved!

The apostle Paul taught the body of believers at Corinth that tongues are for a sign, not to believers, but to unbelievers, and for them not to all pray in tongues in the assembly in case an ungifted person comes in and thinks they are crazy! Because tongues have been abused in many cases throughout the years people have thought them to be strange and even excessive and so they have been neglected in the body!

"With men of other tongues and other lips, I will speak to this people; and yet, for all that, they will not hear Me." I Corinthians 14:21

Mission Statement

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Luke 4: 18-19

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
