Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not set your heart on his destruction. Proverbs 19:18

There are generations of sons (and daughters) who have not been trained, disciplined or chastened, but left to their own device to do whatever their hearts desire! An idle mind is the devil's workshop as the old saying goes and I would say that there is much work going on in Satan's shop!

For years in residential ministry to kids eighteen and up brought by parents who never disciplined them, but expected me to fix them in a year is like taking an unbroken horse and trying to break him after he is firmly set in his ways! He will buck you off every time! Kids need boundaries but they have to be dealt with at an early age, less rebellion sets in and they get their own way. The results of our neglect are obvious today with school shootings, rape, suicide, robbery, drugs, alcohol abuse and illicit sexual behavior of all kinds is rampant.

We had better wake up because the liberal spirit of "anti-Christ" is coming for our children with schools teaching sex-education without parent intervention or approval, teaching them that anything goes, promoting the gay and transgender lifestyle, same sex marriage, masturbation, oral sex, how to have intercourse and how to put on a condom. And if that's not bad enough, telling them that if they have AIDS its OK to have sex with someone without protection or even telling them they have the virus! All of this targeting elementary school age children!

My son, do not despise the chastening of the Lord, nor detest His correction; for whom the Lord loves He corrects, just as a father the son in whom he delights. Proverbs 3:11,12
