I love those who love Me, and those who seek Me diligently will find Me. Riches and honor are with Me, enduring riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yes than fine gold, and My revenue than choice silver. I traverse the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of justice, that I may cause those who love me to inherit wealth, that I may fill their treasuries. Proverbs 8:17-21

Being devoted to God demands time spent seeking Him diligently to receive His treasure which is better than worldly riches. Many who claim to know Him never spend time with Him in prayer, meditation and the study of His word. For a believer, spending quality time with God will insure that he will be filled with His knowledge, wisdom and His will for his life.

For those who do not seek Him they will become empty and begin to drift away from Him just as a married couple who are no longer intimate, they end up becoming estranged and many fall away from the faith! In these most dangerous of times we must be close to God in communion waiting upon His voice to lead us through the spiritual darkness that is covering the earth like a thick cloud. As the world reels to and fro in its lustful drunken state we must remain vigilant and strong, waiting on the Master who is about to return for His bride.

If your desire is to be strong in the Lord you have to invest in spiritual riches and not worldly ones as the lost man does, hoping to reap a reward from his investment. Jesus warned us that worldly riches would rust and be stolen and the pursuit of them is of no value to the spiritual man and woman! Set aside a quiet time alone with God and meditate daily on His word and listen to His still small voice and you will find that you will become strong in spirit and in faith as you seek Him with all of your heart!

Blessed is the man and woman who listens to Me, watching daily at My gates, waiting at the posts of My doors. For whoever finds Me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord; but he who sins against Me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate Me love death. Proverbs 8:34-36
