"You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me." Exodus 20:3-5
BREAKING THE GENERATIONAL CURSE
"You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved image, any likeness of anything that is in Heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me." Exodus 20:3-5
My grandfather ran a dairy farm in Illinois for his rich father who was a Judge in Saint Louis to supply dairy products for his hotel in Chicago which more than likely was a brothel. My grandfather and his brother conspired to deem the Judge to be incompetent and get his money.
Number one, you don't sue your father, and number two, especially if he is a Judge! In any case, it didn't go well and the old man left my grandfather $1.00 in his will! One night the barn caught fire and my grandfather ran into the inferno to save the cars and never came out.
My father eventually moved to Ft. Worth and died of cancer at age 63. His home and an expensive boathouse burned down after his death, as well as his office and when my mother moved into a condo it caught of fire in the first month. The 10,000 square foot home in Illinois eventually burned down also.
Along with this curse of fire and premature death came divorce, of which nine of us in the immediate family of twelve suffered, my dad was the only one who escaped except he died a premature death and my nephew also.
We would do well to heed the warnings in God's word to flee idolatry because it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!
FREEDOM FROM THE CURSE OF THE LAW!
Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. Galatians 3:13
Jesus shed His blood for us to break the generational curse of sin and death and set us free from its consequences! Although these curses are broken when we are born again, sometimes it is necessary to appropriate that which has already been done!
In order to break the generational curse, we must ask that our unfaithful ancestors be forgiven of their sins and then we can proceed to pray and break them off of us and our children. The main reason that we have to be born again is the fact that Adam sinned and we must be washed from the curse that came down on all mankind.
As you repent of all sin in your life, then ask that your ancestors be forgiven also, then pray and ask that the blood shed for you wash away every curse of sin and death in Jesus' name! Holy Spirit will give you revelation and guide you to your deliverance.
And as we have born the image of the man of dust, (Adam) we shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man. (Jesus) I Corinthians 15:49
PRAYER OF DELIVERANCE:
Heavenly Father please forgive me of all sin, transgressions, and trespasses that I have committed against You and also forgive those in my bloodline who have sinned. I repent and receive the blood of the Lord Jesus to wash away every curse, word, spell, sickness disease and infirmity passed down upon me and my children and grandchildren to the fourth generation. In the name, power, and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, I am free!
If you prayed that prayer let us know and for more information on generational curses and deliverance visit our website in the archive section. Thank you and God bless!
