Love believes all things, hopes all things. I Corinthians 13:7

I was admitted into the same hospital I was born in, and my mother and father died in so there was lots of history. My cardiologist put me in the cardiac ward where they hooked me up to an EKG and monitored my heart and then the urologist came in and told me that he was going to do the biopsy.

The urologist reminded me of George C. Scott as he was a grumpy old guy taking the place of my normal Doctor. The next day they took me to the OR where they were lined up to be operated on and then a little nurse came in and gave me a shot and it was lights out! The next thing I remember I woke up in excruciating pain and Mary Ann was standing there crying so I knew things were not good!

The old Dr. said he saw the cancer and it looked like an angry beast and the biopsy showed it to be high grade and would have to be removed. I was in the hospital for two weeks and then released to go home and refrain from any driving, lifting and strenuous exercise. My next doctor visit was to find out what would have to be done and the grace of God was surrounding me!

I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust." Surely, He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the perilous pestilence. Psalm 91:2,3
