My son, (and daughters) keep My words and treasure My commands and live, and My law as the apple of your eye. Bind them on your fingers; write them on the tablet of your heart, say to wisdom, "You are my sister," and call understanding your nearest kin, that they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words. Proverbs 7:1-5

Many a man and woman of God have fallen into immorality and adultery, seduced by the spirit of lust and taken down because they took their eyes off of God's word and allowed their eyes to see that which they are commanded not to look at.

Ask Samson, the strongest of men, King David, a man after God's own heart, Solomon, the wisest, not to mention Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggert and a host of others who were led astray by this demonic seductress. In the garden of God even Adam was led astray, not by sexual lust but by the lust of the eyes, the lust of the flesh and the boastful pride of life.

Today we are bombarded with lustful things, all trying to gain our interest in order to trap us and bring us down. Beware lest you fall prey to her charms because she comes in many forms looking to capture your heart with her beauty. Most who were trapped were strong and even fierce warriors for God.

Now therefore, listen to Me, My children; pay attention to the words of My mouth: do not let your heart turn aside to her ways, do not stray into her paths; for she has cast down many wounded, and all who were slain by her were strong men. Her house is the way to Hell, descending to the chambers of death. Proverbs 7:24-27
