Love endures all things. I Corinthians 13:7
Ever since my dad died of cancer in 1973 at age 63, I had been afraid of the disease but when I was saved in 1980, I no longer feared it! It was really strange that after my diagnosis the grace of God totally covered me, and I had no fear whatsoever, even one of the nurses said, "What's wrong with this guy?"
When it came time to see the urologist and find out what the prognosis would be he told me that he would remove the bladder, put a bag on me and I would be playing golf in no time as if he were changing a battery on a car! I said to myself, "No way!" So, I left and went for a second opinion, and I found a lady urologist at UTSW and she pulled up my diagnosis and showed me what I actually had, and scheduled me for a pet scan!
The doctor. then referred me to a Ukrainian doctor at UTSW in Dallas and so I got the pet scan and went to my appointment with the new Doc. After he reviewed my information he came in and said, "You have a 70% chance of saving your bladder and I immediately said to him, "Go for it!" I later found out that the new Ukrainian Doc was a wiz kid, a professor, and double boarded in two countries so I really felt like God was in control of my circumstances!
But God, Who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the age to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:4-7
