The Spirit of the Lord is upon us. Luke 4:18
The baptism of the Holy Spirit is imperative for the believer to be able to carry out their mission and fulfill their destiny and calling in the earth today. We as His body are His instruments of righteousness in the earth to do that which He did before His ascension to the right hand of the Father.
Just as Jesus was filled with the Holy Spirit at the beginning of His ministry, so we too are to be filled in order to receive power to do the work of service. Jesus is our example and model for us to follow in regards to His ministry. He left us a pattern, but not many follow it, instead being satisfied to sit in a religious box, always learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the truth!
In order to become a disciple of Christ you will have to step out of the box and ignore the religious nonsense adopted by the modern day apostate church and follow Jesus. Christ is the Head of His body, not your pastor, or any denomination, He is your Master and Lord to obey the leading of His Spirit and go into all the earth expanding His kingdom.
"But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." Acts 1:8
