The Spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life. Job 33:4
Our little church met at the hospital filled with faith, hope and love for Eric and there was a Spirit of peace that permeated the entire waiting room with our people reaching out to others who were also there visiting their loved ones!
We all with one heart believed the best for Eric, even though his situation was grave at best, but we went down to the chapel to have a prayer service for him trusting God for a miracle. On the way to the chapel the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "I want you to go to Eric's room and blow the breath of life into him!" I thought to myself, I have never heard of that but I am willing to try anything at this point. I entered the room and he was on a respirator with no visible signs of life, so I breathed on him and proceeded to the chapel.
There is power and anointing available when the body of Christ stands in agreement believing God for miracles and we certainly needed one now in order for Eric to live. At the end of the service Eric's Doctor called his father on his cell phone and asked that the family come to his room so that they could take him off of life support and in the natural that means, the end! But we don't serve a natural God, we serve a supernatural One!
Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. I urge you in the sight of God who gives life to all things, and before Christ who witnessed the good confession. I Timothy 6:12,13
