Then he showed me Joshua the High Priest standing before the Angel of the Lord, and Satan standing at his right hand to oppose him. Zechariah 3:1
Joshua is a type of believer yet to come in the future, a high priest, but like us all, clothed with filthy garments that represent our attempt to be righteous. We like Joshua are also clothed with filthy rags until we are washed in the blood of Christ and then we are made righteous through the atonement!
Satan was accusing Joshua before the Lord when the Lord rebuked him and then He said, "Take away the filthy garments from him." And to him He said, "See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes." Joshua was made clean and clothed with the robes of royalty as we are also clothed with robes of righteousness.
Then the Lord said, "Let them put a clean turban on his head." I believe this represents the helmet of salvation which also protects the mind from the attacks of the enemy and allows us to have the mind of Christ! As Joshua was now a royal priest of the Most High, we are also a royal priesthood of blood washed believers able to go into the very throne room of God!
Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'If you will walk in My ways, and if you will keep My command, then you shall also judge my house, and likewise have charge of My courts; I will give you places to walk among those who stand here.' Zechariah 3:7
