Because you have made the Lord, who is my refuge, even the Most High, your dwelling place, no evil shall befall you, nor shall any plague come near your dwelling; for He shall give His angels charge over you to keep you in all your ways. In their hands they shall bear you up, lest you dash your foot against a stone. You shall tread upon the lion and the cobra, the young lion and the serpent you shall trample underfoot. Psalm 91:9-13

Praise God for angels because we need all the help we can get living in a world filled with evil! I have always known and believed in guardian angels even before I was saved but it wasn't until 35 years ago that I actually met one.
One day after teaching a Bible study on loving God and your neighbor I passed by a man lying in the weeds at a stop sign and then turned to go home when the Holy Spirit reminded me of what I had just taught. Convicted, I turned around and picked the man up who was severely sunburned and dirty, obviously out in the elements a long time. It was a thirty minute trip to the farm where I was going to start a ministry so I questioned him about why he was living in the streets and what happened to him.
I don't remember what he told me because within my heart God was dealing with me about what I was going to do for him. Unbeknownst to me this was a divine test to see if I was really going to walk the talk and do what I had been teaching. When we came to the road to turn off to go to our farm I purposed in my heart to do anything I had to do to help this man and he said to me, "Let me out!" Shocked, I directed him to a little men's ministry a block down the street and told him I would be right back. I went home grabbed some of my clothes and went back to the ministry where no one had seen the big guy. I searched up and down the highway when I realized that he was an angel and I had passed the test!
Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some have unwittingly entertained angels. Hebrews 13:2
