Is America Cursed?

   "Now it shall come to pass, if you diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments which I command you today, that the Lord your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth. "And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you, because you obey the voice of the Lord your God." Deuteronomy 28:1,2

    For over two hundred years America has walked in the blessings and favor of God. Because our founding fathers chose to give God honor and glory He has allowed us to become the most powerful nation on earth. The uncompromised gospel of Jesus Christ was sent around the world and missionary's were sent out to proclaim the truth and to establish churches in every country.

    In spite of our bloody upbringing and the racial atrocities that we have committed America has been truly blessed by God, that is, up until about fifty years ago when we began to expel God from our schools and our government. Since then a new generation has been raised up without any spiritual or moral compass. The American dream has become an excuse to get all you can, and can the rest! Pride, greed and selfishness rule this new generation that worships the god of I, me, my.

    Would God curse such a country as this or is what America is experiencing just coincidence or maybe just Mother Nature at her worst. To answer this question we have to take a look at the nation of Israel, God's own chosen people. When they would disobey, God would allow their enemies to prevail over them and in some cases would even send them against His own people.Throughout biblical history man has obeyed and been blessed and disobeyed and been cursed.

    "The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way and flee before you seven ways. "The Lord will command the blessing on you in your storehouses and in all to which you set your hand, and He will bless you in the land which the Lord is giving you." Deuteronomy 28:7,8

    World War II was the last war that America actually won and defeated her enemies on two fronts valiantly and with honor, and in most cases giving God the glory for victory. Then came Korea and things began to change, the battles became harder and the enemies seemed stronger. All the while America celebrated the blessing and prosperity of God and then came Vietnam.

    50,000 men lost their lives to a nation of primitive rice farmers and in most cases succumbed to crudely designed but very deadly traps set by an enemy skilled in the art of subterfuge and deception. Poorly equipped yet well hidden they defeated the greatest fighting force ever assembled for battle. America was defeated and went away being the tail and not the head that God promised to those that obey His word.

    Then came 911, a powerful blow designed to not just kill but to begin the destruction of America's financial wealth. The mighty "Trade Center" fell by the hands of the same people that God sent against Israel when they sinned. The arrows of His indignation brought down the loftiest of man in an hour of judgment. The death of a nation began and from that time we have experienced fire, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, drought, sickness and pestilence of all kinds, not to mention the Iraq war.

    "But it shall come to pass, if you do not obey the voice of the Lord your God, to observe carefully all His commandments and His statutes which I command you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you." Deuteronomy 28:15

    Although the book of Deuteronomy contains many curses, there are basically three groups of curses that effect us in the areas of:  family, health and finances. For decades America has experienced a rise in conflict and divorce in families, sickness and disease have consumed us and the nation's economy is being destroyed before our very eyes. As the world's mightiest nation we have steadily fallen into a terrible situation and approaching what looks like the end of life as we know it.

 FAMILY

    "Cursed shall be the fruit of your body and the produce of your land, the increase of your cattle and the offspring of your flocks. "Cursed shall you be when you come in, and cursed shall you be when you go out."

   "The Lord will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke in all that you set your hand to do, until you perish quickly, because of the wickedness of your doings in which you have forsaken Me." Deuteronomy 28:18-20

    In the fifties the youth of this nation began to rebel and turn their ears from parental correction, thus birthing the age of juvenile delinquency. Sex, drugs and if it feels good, do it, ruled the young people of this nation and it went from bad to worse. From the fifties until now the spirit of rebellion and witchcraft have seduced and destroyed millions of children long before their time.

    The sixties and seventies brought more and more evil and idolatry into society and drug addiction and alcoholism reigned destroying more lives. Women's Lib gave women freedom to murder their unborn legally with the Supreme Court giving them their approval, with the result being 50 million dead innocent babies. If that's not bad enough they want to be able to kill them right up to the time of birth. After all it's just a fetus.

    Pornography, and the ability to view literally anything you want on the Internet has poisoned the minds and hearts of countless people tuning them into zombies, wrecking families and breaking down the family unit until it is hardly recognizable. Divorce, once rare is now the norm and marriage is on the way out being replaced by friends with benefits. No commitment, no problems!

    Murder, rape and crime of all kinds have made America have one of the largest prison populations in the world, with over two million men and women incarcerated and when they get out, 70% will return because they re-offended. Judgment's rod has budded and the sins of the fathers have been handed down on the head of the children. May God have mercy!

    "Your sons and your daughters shall be given to another people and your eyes shall look and there shall be no strength in your hand. (nothing you can do!) Deuteronomy 28:32

 HEALTH

    "The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt, with tumors, with the scab, and with the itch, from which you cannot be healed. "The Lord will strike you with madness and blindness and confusion of heart." Deuteronomy 28:27, 28

    America is a sick nation, afflicted with every kind of disease and infirmity that you can think of. Every where you look there is an ad for some new remedy that will heal your ills even though the side effects may kill you. Cancer, heart disease and diabetes are killing millions of people and new diseases and viruses are appearing in the midst of all our scientific genius.

     The medical profession has spent billions trying to cure diseases that have been sent against a rebellious people that have refused to repent of their idolatry and stubbornness. Hardhearted and stiff necked they have forsaken the God that has the power to heal them and have gone after other gods, such as doctors and so-called professionals who have absolutely no power to heal them.

     God promised in Psalms 103 that He would heal all of our diseases and pardon all of our iniquities and that we are to trust Him for all of our needs. Jesus healed all that came to Him and proclaimed a covenant promise of better things to come because He was going to shed His own blood for us. I can't imagine putting myself in the hands of unbelievers and trust them with my life when God has already promised He would take care of me.

     Sickness, disease and infirmity are all caused either by our sin, our ancestor's sin or invasion by the powers of darkness. The blood of Jesus is the only remedy for sin and when repented of and forsaken, the God of all mercy and grace will bring about our healing. Trust in man brings a curse, but trusting in a God who loves us brings about great blessing and comfort.

     "If you do not carefully observe all the words of this law that are written in this book that you may fear this glorious and awesome name, THE LORD YOUR GOD, then the Lord will bring upon you and your descendants extraordinary plaques and serious and prolonged sicknesses."

     "Moreover He will bring back on you all the diseases of Egypt, of which you were afraid, and they shall cling to you. Also every sickness and every plaque, which is not written in this book of the law, will the Lord bring upon you until you are destroyed." Deuteronomy 28:58-61

 FINANCES

     "The alien who is among you shall rise higher and higher above you, and you shall come down lower and lower. He shall lend to you, but you shall not lend to him; he shall be the head and you shall be the tail."

     "Moreover all these curses shall come upon you and pursue and overtake you, until you are destroyed, because you did not obey the voice of the Lord your God to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you." Deuteronomy 28:43-46

     America is both spiritually and physically bankrupt. Once rich beyond measure and lending to the world, she has now become a debtor nation, borrowing from her enemies. In the last few years since 911 this country has experienced disaster after disaster wreaking havoc on our reserves and totally devastating our economy. Fires, floods and hurricanes, not to mention the Iraq war have depleted America's resources to the point of no return.

     Thousands of people are losing their homes to foreclosure and literally millions are suffering the loss of their savings and some have even resorted to living in their own cars. Foreign investors are buying up everything in sight and the alien is flourishing in this country. Oil is out of control, the atmosphere is wrecked by pollution and global warming is on the rise. The rich Arab princes of the East are laughing their way to the bank all the while we are spending billions each month on a war started by a president with a personal vendetta.

     America has steadily progressed from a godly nation to a secular nation without faith in Christ to finally; a godless pagan land of eastern rituals and witchcraft. The so-called evangelical churches have quit preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ and gone after nickels, noses and numbers. Prosperity has replaced repentance and signs and wonders are idolized by millions seeking some sort of relevance from the church.

     After reading this Message and looking at this country only a blind man would fail to see our plight. Our condition has been caused, not by the people of this land wanting to become rebellious and destroy themselves, but rather by a lack of the uncompromising word of the living God! God's word is no longer preached except by a few who are not afraid to run off the big tithers and seekers coming for a nice smooth encouraging word. The blood of the savior, the cross that He was forsaken for our sin on, and the conditions of salvation to lose all and follow Jesus have been conveniently taken out of the gospel until it has lost it's redeeming power to save.

     America's only hope lies with the preachers of this country to turn a godless society and the church back to a God deeply offended by our lack of trust in Him. The lost people of America are enemies of God, forsaken to eternal damnation and hopeless because of their sin and rebellion. Only the preaching of the true un-compromised gospel of Jesus Christ can turn this country around and wash away it's sin by the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. Politics won't do it, saying God bless America won't do it, stricter laws won't do it, only the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ repenting for it's sin and this country's sin and preaching the word of God will save this land from total destruction.

     "Therefore you shall serve your enemies, whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, in thirst, in nakedness, and in need of everything; and He will put a yoke of iron on your neck until He has destroyed you."  Deuteronomy 28:48

 AMERICA'S ONLY HOPE IS FOR THE CHURCH OF THE LIVING GOD TO REPENT FOR THE INNOCENT BLOOD SHED IN THIS COUNTRY AND TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS FOR OUR ARROGANCE AND PRIDEFUL ATTITUDE TOWARD A HOLY GOD THAT HAS BEEN DEEPLY OFFENDED AND FORSAKEN!

     "When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, "if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, ( be honest about the condition of their heart ) and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land."

     "Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place." II Chronicles 7:13-15
