I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Galatians 5:16

When one is born again he becomes a spiritual being, encased in flesh but free in the Spirit to walk with God. In order to walk in the Spirit one has to deny the lusts and pleasures of the flesh and the Holy Spirit will come alongside and lead you.

For one to walk this narrow road it is imperative they be truly born again and Spirit-filled. I walk most days along a sidewalk, so imagine the path you are attempting to walk is also likened to a sidewalk and that which is on both sides represents the world and the lusts of the flesh. You must be careful to traverse your narrow path with caution so that you don't drift off into the world!

There are many things today that will try and hinder you from walking in the Spirit, "The lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life are just a few, the worries of the world and the cares of this life also will try and choke the spiritual life out of you as spoken of in the parable of the sower." So, if you are ready, take His hand and follow His lead on this spiritual journey that will ultimately lead you to life eternal!

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, and these are contrary to one another so that you do not do the things you wish. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law. Galatians 5:17,18
