Living the Supernatural Life: Part II

Whenever you assemble each of you has a psalm, has a teaching, has a tongue, has a revelation, has an interpretation. let all things be done for edification. I Corinthians 14:26

When 120 disciples of the Lord Jesus assembled together in unity waiting on the promise of the Holy Spirit the Supernatural power of God was poured out upon them! This was the birth of the body of Christ, a living breathing human expression of the Lord Jesus Christ in the earth.

This was the beginning of a new Supernatural paradigm in regard to the ministry of the body of Christ, no longer a place to go, but a Person to be. The believer is now a member and participant in the ministry and mission of Jesus Christ. As the scripture states we all have a part in our assemblies, a gift to be given to edify the entire body.

Imagine being a part in the assembly of the 120 where the Holy Spirit was poured out upon them, and they all spoke in tongues and because of this gift 3000 people from out of town were saved! Today however we go to a church listen to a message given by the pastor, sing a couple of songs, give an offering and go home. Supernatural or Super-boring?

Now you are the body of Christ, and members individually. I Corinthians 13:27

GIFTED TO GO

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant. I Corinthians 12:1

Most I am afraid are ignorant of Supernatural gifts as Paul warned the church at Corinth. They either don't know what to do with them or they ignore them all together. Another major problem is the churches don't allow anyone to operate in their specific gift, afraid they will make a mistake or embarrass the pastor.

The church is designed to be an assembly of those who are born again, Spirit filled saints who use their gifts to minister as the 120 did when upon receiving the gift of tongues went immediately out into the streets! Because of their newfound gift they spoke boldly the gospel to those who spoke in foreign languages, and 3000 were saved!

The New Testament church is designed as a missionary training, equipping and sending entity! It was never a place to go and sit, it was a place to be sent out of and go! Jesus commanded us to go into all the world and yet not many ever do nor are they trained to do so.

"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have taught you; and lo I am with you always even to the end of the age." (Now) Matthew 28:19,20

BAPTIZED WITH POWER

Jesus said, "John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now." Acts 1:5

The church in Acts at Pentecost is an example to follow for every believer, many of whom don't believe in the second blessing or Baptism in the Holy Spirit. The main reason is tradition, doctrine and denomination who have polluted new believers with lies!

The 120 who were assembled together waiting on God's promise were saved and waiting on the Baptism in the Holy Spirit to empower them. First Jesus was baptized with the Holy Spirit as an example for us and then the 120 were also baptized with power for us to follow in their example then and now and forever as long as the church is on the earth!

You cannot live the Supernatural life without the Baptism in the Holy Spirit to empower the believer to walk in the realm of the kingdom of God, on earth as it is in Heaven!

"You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me." Acts 1:8

Mission Statement

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor. Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
