For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation (Hell) which will devour the adversaries. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation (Hell) which will devour the adversaries. Anyone who has rejected Moses law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Hebrews 10:26-28
If a man or woman was found to have broken the law of Moses they were brought out to the gates and by the testimony of two or three witnesses they were stoned to death. This was done under the old covenant where sins were cleansed by the blood of bulls and goats, but we are under a new covenant where we are cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus!
As the scripture states, there is no sacrifice for willful sin, in other words the blood of Jesus is not given to cleanse what we willfully choose to commit unless we repent by confessing and turning away from it. Judgment awaits those who refuse to repent, either a sin unto death or the threat of demons entering the person who walks in rebellion!
This is why it is so important to walk in repentance and purity of heart so that we don't open ourselves up to demonic oppression, which if not dealt with can lead to, possession! Remember, the wages of sin is still death and we must always guard our hearts and minds keeping our focus on the Lord Jesus Christ!
Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common or unclean thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord. And again, "The Lord will judge His people." It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:29-31
