When I was saved I became aware of many different churches and denominations, some believed all of the gospel being called "Full Gospel" churches and others not so much, maybe they should have been called 50% gospel or 25% gospel. Anyway it was confusing and for a new believer, hard to understand why everyone couldn't believe it all.
As the scripture states, the gospel is the power of God to salvation, the good news is the whole gospel Message that contains the power to forgive, heal and deliver us from all of our sins, sicknesses and pain. To take away from the gospel or to water it down in some way dilutes its power just as if you watered down the gasoline in your car, making it unable to create a spark! You cannot believe part of the gospel and leave some of it out as many have.
To receive the gospel of our salvation is to partake of all the blessings and benefits given freely to those who would choose to believe. Forgiveness of all of our sins and the healing of all of our sickness, disease and pain and the provision for our livelihood is all for us, given freely through the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!
For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, "The just shall live by faith." Romans 1:17
