Awaken My Beloved I sleep, but my heart is awake; it is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, "Open for Me My sister, My love, My dove, My perfect one; for My head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night." Song of Solomon 5:2
Awaken My Beloved
I sleep, but my heart is awake; it is the voice of my beloved! He knocks, saying, "Open for Me My sister, My love, My dove, My perfect one; for My head is covered with dew, My locks with the drops of the night." Song of Solomon 5:2
The Lord Jesus Christ is calling His beloved bride to awaken to His call in the night, to arise to meet the love of her life and receive of His blessings and favor. In this time of great spiritual darkness that blankets the entire world with it's cloud of deception and seduction there lies a woman, beautiful and pure as though she was adorned with the snows of Heaven. She sleeps a sleep of splendor as she awaits her love to touch her with His lips that will speak to her heart and awaken her to her destiny as the true and faithful "Bride of Christ."
Those who belong to the Lord Jesus Christ, who have been washed in His blood and delivered from the bonds of religion make up this sleeping beauty who has waited for her Bridegroom to appear for the wedding for two thousand years. Asleep as they wait and because of His delay they continue to lie in state, the bride dreams of her lover coming to consummate the marriage and become joined together as One. Like living stones scattered across the world they will soon awaken to the sound of the trumpet announcing the Bridegroom's eminent return. Imagine the excitement of being awakened to the blast of the heavenly trumpets sounding to announce His arrival, 'Behold, the Bridegroom is coming, go out to meet Him!'
Millions of true believers have waited eons for this glorious day when Christ returns for His beloved bride who has adorned herself with the gifts He has given her and the fruit of His Spirit that exudes His holy and divine nature as a rose gives of it's heavenly scent. The bride's fragrant aroma is that of the Bridegroom's divine nature permeating the air with His presence and power. Together as One the spiritual Man and woman will populate the earth with spiritual children, new creations in Christ, born from above and birthed into their new life in Christ.
Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church, and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of the water of the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. Ephesians 5:25-27
The "Bride of Christ" is the wife of the Lord Jesus Christ and together make up the church, the ekklesia of God in the Spirit. A spiritual being created to walk among the people of the earth with healing, deliverance and the glorious gospel of salvation for all who receive from her hand. Never meant to be a place to go but a person to be, she represents her Husband as an ambassador of truth and righteousness for all to see. Most never have eyes to see her but instead are drawn away by the harlot, the woman of the night, sent by Satan himself to deceive them and seduce them with her charms and seductive beauty that has cast down many a mighty man!
Ever since her creation two thousand years ago, the wife of the Lamb has gone about in the obscure and humble way of a servant girl and although a Queen she lives among the poor and destitute of the world giving of herself and spending her life sowing the seeds of Heaven and planting the kingdom throughout the earth. You might not recognize her if you met her because of her inward beauty and quiet, gentle spirit, unlike the boisterous woman of the night who is adorned with the trappings of the world, she moves through the multitudes with the pure and humble Message of grace given freely to those in need. This powerful warrior bride is adorned with the oil of joy and gladness of her Husband, anointed to spread the news of His glorious return and His resurrection from the grave. She wars with the powers of darkness and intercedes for the multitudes to come and receive the blood shed for them by her Husband, the Lamb of God.
With her sword in hand she defeats the hordes of Hell with stealth and power given by her Husband and the authority to forgive, heal and to even raise from the dead making her a formidable force to be reckoned with. The most powerful entity in the universe, she tramples the enemies of God under her feet, shod with the gospel of peace and wearing the shinning armor of the Most High, the weapons of her warfare are not of this world but mighty in the God whom she serves! Although she sleeps she is awake in the Spirit awaiting her lover to come and set her free from her slumber and rescue her from the bonds that hold her down in these last days to awaken to the beautiful sounds of Heaven's splendor.
"Then the kingdom of Heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom."Now five of them were wise and five were foolish. "Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, "but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. "But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept. "And at midnight a cry was heard: 'Behold, the bridegroom is coming; go out to meet Him!" Matthew 25:1-6
Ten virgins awakened to the sound of their lover's return, five of them were wise because they knew the secret of the kingdom and the ability to keep their vessels filled with the precious oil of Holy Spirit's divine presence. The foolish virgins, like many today simply have no oil because they don't spend time with the only One who can give it, so they run to and fro to meetings and conferences seeking that which only a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ can give. Empty and destitute of any anointing they wander aimlessly in spiritual darkness because they have no oil for their lamps to shine forth the way to His glorious presence.
The true bride of the living Lord Jesus always keeps her lamp filled with His Spirit because she spends much time with the One she loves and because of her sincere Devotion to Him, He gives the oil of joy and gladness she so desires! From this precious gift of anointing oil comes light and revelation giving the bride wisdom and knowledge to overcome the world and the powers of darkness who come to rob, kill and destroy all that is good and righteous. The path she walks is illuminated with the brilliance of His presence given only to those who seek Him with all of their heart. The wise virgins flourish in the rich life He provides while the foolish continue to seek that which does not profit, always traveling the ways of the world.
Many will be awakened from the spiritual darkness of the world to an abrupt and sorrowful ending because they never truly knew the Lord but sought religious activity instead of the sweet presence of His divine Spirit sent to envelope us in His love and protection far from the darkness and destruction of the world. The trumpet of His arrival is sounding, do you hear it's cry to awake from spiritual darkness to walk in the light of His presence and to live with Him forever in the kingdom of His Father on earth as it is in Heaven, or will you perish with the multitudes who rejected His love and provision destined for the fires of eternal damnation? The choice is yours, love Him or leave Him, His salvation and deliverance awaits only those willing to give up their life to assume His name and marry the Lord and only King of the universe, Jesus, Son of the living God! Are you ready?
"And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came and those who were ready went in with Him to the wedding; and the door was shut. 'Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open to us!' "But He answered and said, 'Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.' "Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming." Matthew 25:10-13
