Love does not behave rudely and does not seek its own. I Corinthians 13:5
In my 42-year journey with Jesus I have visited a lot of churches, some were friendly, but some were also rude. There have been times when I entered a church that for the whole time of the service no one said hello or even acknowledged I was there! I was beginning to think I was invisible!
There have been other times I have been with preachers who were arrogant and rude to people thinking they were so much more spiritual and looked down on those who were not on their level. This is spiritual pride and it's a killer of true spirituality. Denomination is another enemy of the moving of God's Spirit when people don't accept the Jesus in you because you don't belong to their camp!
Let me be honest, "There is only One camp and it's called, the body of Christ!" If you don't belong to this camp, you are out in the cold! I preached one Sunday in a United Pentecostal church in Oklahoma and the moment I opened my New American Standard Bible it sounded like a machine gun going off as everyone slammed their Bibles shut because I wasn't using the holy King James Bible!
For when one says, 'I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one? I Corinthians 3:4,5
