For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; but in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two edged sword, her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold of Hell, lest you ponder her path of life-her ways are unstable you do not know them. Proverbs 5:3-6

Proverbs speaks often of the path of life, the narrow road of the believer and there are many detours one can take. It seems today that immorality, pornography and lust are everywhere, in media, TV and in just about every area of our lives competing for our attention.
Many a man and woman have fallen captive to the lure of these seductive forces and have opened doors for the powers of darkness to deceive them and ultimately overpower them. Samson, David and millions of men and women have been trapped with another man or woman's charms, even some losing their lives.
We live in dangerous times, being stalked by our spiritual enemies and attacked by demonic influences from every direction. The only way to traverse the path of life is to carry the light of God's word, led by His Spirit, accountable to those you trust and keeping your eyes straight ahead, or you could be drawn down the broad-road of destruction!
For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord. And He ponders all his paths. His own iniquities entrap the wicked man, and he is caught in the cords of his sin. He shall die for lack of instruction, and in the greatness of his folly he shall go astray. Proverbs 5:21-23
