And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, "Lord, if you are willing, You can make me clean." Matthew 8:2
Lepers were unapproachable in those days being deemed unclean because of their sins, but Jesus didn't hesitate to touch him. The leper asked Him if He was willing to heal him and Jesus said, "I am willing; be cleansed." That is God's will for healing leprosy!
As we have seen it was God's will to heal in the Old Testament and we see that Jesus is healing people even before He went to the cross, and so it is today: God's will is to heal all who come to Him in faith believing.
Throughout the gospels Jesus healed everyone who came to Him and they didn't go off naming it and claiming it or confessing the Word, they simply asked in faith and were immediately healed! Today we are under a better covenant sealed with the blood of Jesus!
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately his leprosy was cleansed. Matthew 8:3
