But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: "We ought to obey God rather than men." "The God of our fathers raised up Jesus whom you murdered by hanging on a tree. "Him God has exalted to His right hand to be Prince and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins" Acts 5:29-31

To obey is better than sacrifice as the scriptures state, but today there is only cheap grace and a complacent attitude for the gospel of Jesus Christ. No one wants to rock the proverbial boat, scared to death that they might offend some poor sinner! Well I say, "Offend on!" These apostles disobeyed the leaders of their day by preaching Jesus and were jailed and whipped for their obedience!

The glorious outpouring on the saints at Pentecost was not given to a people who would sit in a pew and boast of their spiritual gifts, they were anointed for service in the kingdom of their Father and bore fruits of the Holy Spirit, multiplying their talents and laying down their lives to see people saved, healed, delivered and transformed into new creations in Christ!

Have you received the "Promise of the Father," the baptism in the Holy Spirit? If so, what are you doing with your life? Are you obeying God or submitting under some counterfeit church order led by misguided and deceived leadership? Rise up and fulfill your divine destiny, be filled with the Holy Spirit and go and make disciples in the name, power, blood and authority of the Lord Jesus Christ! Amen!

"And we are His witnesses to these things, and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God has given to those who obey Him." Acts 5:32
