For the sake of time and the fact that all of these works of the flesh usually hang out together, we will take a look at someone who has all of these attributes. Satan is the master of disaster and he is filled with wrath because of his expulsion from Heaven in which God had him and one-third of the angelic host thrown out!
Satan is also a master of disguise and subterfuge, which is to evade, escape, conceal or hide something. His greatest scheme is that he has convinced most people that he doesn't even exist. Although he doesn't possess any power to harm us, beware that through the use of his many ploys and schemes he can seduce us to sin against God and even cause our injury or death due to the consequences of our actions.
King David, a man after God's own heart, sweet psalmist of Israel, and mighty warrior was seduced one night by his beautiful neighbor bathing next door. As he gazed upon her naked body lust consumed him and he had her delivered to his bed-chamber where they made love and she became pregnant. From walking in the Spirit to allowing his flesh to take control, David committed adultery with Bathsheba and murdered her husband Uriah which carried two death sentences and the consequences of his actions followed him to the grave!
But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking (selfish ambition) in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth, this wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, and demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. James 3:14,15
