When I read these scriptures I take them to heart that God is speaking to me, because if He has appeared to you by making Himself known to you as He has to me, then you are a witness and a minister of His gospel! Remember this is our mission statement because as Christ is in the world, so are we!
Jesus told Paul to stand on his feet to go and fulfill his purpose as he has also said to us, "GO!" I believe that every born again, Spirit filled man and woman of God has a calling to go and minister in the name of Jesus Christ! We are not called to some Sunday morning social club to sit and vegetate in a pew, listening to some talking head ramble on about why we should tithe!
We are called and anointed to be the living representation of the Lord Jesus as His body in the earth, given all power and authority over the powers of darkness and to perform signs, wonders and miracles of healing and deliverance! So, what are you waiting for, the world is lost and dying, waiting for you to preach the gospel and set them free from the bonds of death and Hell?
'I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, 'to open their eyes in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.' Acts 26:17,18
