Jesus told His mother that His time had not come, but His mother told the servants to do whatever He told them to do. Jesus then instructed the servants to fill the empty water pots with water and draw some out and take it to the master of the feast.
The wine Jesus gave was better than the wine that was given first and the master was amazed and so was the bridegroom. This was the first recorded miracle Jesus performed as He began His ministry. Even though He said that His time had not come, He obeyed His mother's request as a good and obedient son.
We serve a mighty God willing to come to earth in the flesh of a man to save a lost and dying people from their sins. In the preceding Devotional Teachings we will see the signs, wonders and miracles of Jesus that changed the lives of thousands and built up their faith to believe!
This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. John 2:11
