I beseech (urge) you therefore brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. Romans 12:1

As Jesus was a sacrifice for us and we in turn are a sacrifice for Him, in that our lives are no longer ours, they belong to Him. When we are born again we enter the Divine Order of the Kingdom of God where we are no longer of this world but citizens of a new supernatural realm of the Spirit.
Old things pass away and as the scripture states and all things become new! We have been bought with a price and we are free from sin but slaves of righteousness. Once we have been baptized in water we rise from our watery grave to newness of life then we are baptized with the Holy Spirit, giving us power to serve as stewards of the mysteries of Christ!
If the body of Christ could only shake off all the tradition and false doctrine that has been heaped on her for eons she would rise as a supernatural warrior princess, empowered to rule the world and defeat the darkness by spreading the light and life of the Lord Jesus Christ! We are not called to sit, we are called to Go and do the greater works promised by the Lord Himself.
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2
