What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? Romans 6:1,2

As we have seen in the scripture there is no forgiveness for willful sin and grace does not cover rebellion and disobedience. When we come to Jesus by faith and receive Him as our Lord we are then baptized into His death.

Buried with Christ in a watery grave and resurrected into a new life in Him, being crucified with Him we are no longer slaves of sin and sin no longer has dominion over our lives! We are then dead to sin and alive to God in Christ, new creations: cleansed, delivered and pardoned of all transgressions, we are free indeed!

We live in a mortal body but we are now, spiritual beings, washed and justified, we must resist temptation and refuse the flesh its lusts and pleasures so that we remain pure and free from sin's defilement's and the consequences of our un-holy behavior.

Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one's slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness? Romans 6:16
