The wrath of God is His hot anger and displeasure against sin. To understand His wrath is to know that demons carry out the wrath of God! Deliverance has been misunderstood by the church watching Hollywood's portrayal of demonic entities and horror stories of possession and supernatural manifestations, especially the movie, "The Exorcist" in which a little girl is possessed by demons and a priest attempts to cast them out!
The key to deliverance is repentance, by one confessing and turning away from sin the demons can be expelled and freedom can be acknowledged. Deliverance isn't some mysterious obscure ministry hidden in the back rooms of the church, it is a viable ministry of the body of Christ and should be practiced anytime it is needed in order to validate the power and authority of the true church of Jesus Christ!
As we proceed in this Devotional teaching I will show you some of the types and shadows exhibited in the Old Testament of God sending demonic hordes upon those of His people who walked in disobedience. I pray this teaching will open your eyes to the revelation of the truth of God's word and set you free from the traditions of men and doctrines of demons.
But with most of His people God was not well pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. Now these things became our examples, to the intent that we should not lust after evil things as they also lusted. I Corinthians 10:6
