The Bride, The Body, and the Church: Part XXII

    And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healing, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. I Corinthians 12:28

    Where are the pastors? Did God forget them? No, this is the divine appointment of God forHis church! God chose apostles to not only be first but to be the builders and architects of His holy temple of living stones.

    If we would only look at God's "Divine Design" for His church, we would see the power and glory return and souls would be saved, set free, and baptized in His Holy Spirit. Today seminary trained preacher boys have turned God's church into a dead and lifeless spectator sport where no one is trained, equipped, or sent into the harvest!

    The way churches are built today they are not geared for making disciples, our primary calling, and they are not purpose-driven, they are profit-driven because of their large overheads. Once this happens, they are wide open for compromise!

    Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:4,5

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God.
