The Lone Ranger

"A fiery horse with the speed of light, a cloud of dust and a hearty 'High Ho Silver and away!' "

Well, the truth of the matter for all of you spiritual Lone Rangers is the fact that Silver, the Holy Spirit will be away, and you will be sitting in the dust with the devil! I know because there have been times that I was one, alone and depressed without the input and fellowship of the body of Christ or the Holy Spirit.

Isolation leads to desolation and desolation leads to spiritual death. Coming away to a lonely place to hear God periodically is a good thing but isolating yourself from the body of Christ allows your ability to discern good and evil to wear away by the constant input from the devil. When Jesus called His disciples and sent them out, He sent them in pairs so that they would have increased spiritual strength, agreement and discernment in ministry!

Even the Lone Ranger had Tonto who was a great asset in his fight against injustice. Jesus trained twelve disciples to lead and to plant His church and His Divine plan was to develop true fellowship among His people, a body with the purpose of creating His image upon the earth who were filled with His Spirit.

"Again, I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them." Matthew 18:19,20

WE HAVE A HELPER

"But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, (Parakletos, Comforter) whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you." John 14:26

God has given us His Holy Spirit as a lifelong partner, who gives us wisdom, discernment and the gifts of the Spirit, both motivational and Spiritual! But God didn't give anyone the whole loaf as if someone would possess everything the Father gives.

The reason is His desire was for each of us to have a part in His spiritual body on the earth to share what they had been given with one another. A Lone Ranger can't do this, being isolated and alone. The Divine Design was to make disciples, who would become apostles who would then build up the individual bodies of believers in the earth to spread His gospel to the lost and replicate the expression of His supernatural being on earth as it is in Heaven.

God promised His disciples that when He ascended to the Father, He would send them a Helper and He fulfilled it when a mighty rushing wind filled the place where they were waiting, and they were all filled with Holy Spirit power!

But speaking the truth in love may grow up in all things into Him who is the Head, Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, (us) according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4:15,16

THE STRONGEST LONE RANGER

So the woman bore a son and called his name Samson; and the child grew, and the Lord blessed him. And the Spirit of the Lord began to move upon him. Judges 13:24,25

Samson, possibly the strongest man who ever lived empowered by the Holy Spirit was conceived to defeat the enemies of God! Samson was a Lone Ranger from the beginning and in the end, it cost him his life!

Being a strong person has the tendency to create a prideful and arrogant spirit in one's life, giving them the impression that they do not need anyone's assistance which is a dangerous position! Samson was always hanging out with the enemies of God, those he was to defeat and his lust for Gentile women led to his demise. To my knowledge Samson never had any spiritual training or true devotion to God relying on his own strength to pull him through.

Samson finally succumbed to a devious plot by the Philistines, his discernment dulled by his pride and lust for a woman named Delilah who seduced him to give the secret of his great strength. When he had told her all he fell asleep on her lap and the Philistines came in and shaved his head, gouged out his eyes and bound him with bronze chains. At the end of his life, he was led into their coliseum to be made sport of and in a last-ditch effort he pulled down the entire arena and died along with his enemies! A sin unto death!

In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of the Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. I Corinthians 5:4,5

Your servant in Christ, Timothy Laughlin
Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ

Tim Laughlin has been involved in full time ministry for over thirty-five years. Set free from a $2000.00 a week cocaine addiction and fifteen years of alcoholism, Tim gave his life to Jesus in 1980 and was immediately delivered. Trained in the streets, led only by the Holy Spirit, Tim prayed for drug addicts, prostitutes and anyone else that wanted to be free from the strongholds of sin. With a burning desire to see people saved and healed Tim founded and directed several Christian residential programs such as Manna Ministries, one of the largest and most successful women's ministries in the Southwest. Apostle to the ''NO-BODY'S'' of this world, Tim has been involved in virtually every facet of ministry, from prison, ex offenders, UN-wed mothers, addicts, Gays and those that nobody wants. Without formal training and only a love for people Tim has seen hundreds set free, healed, delivered and raised from the dead by God's powerful anointing available to everyone that asks Him. Through many trials and fires in his own life Tim has learned to trust in the Lord for all of his needs and to rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance in every circumstance. His vision is for the Body of Christ to become the powerful army of disciples that God intended them to be, trained for battle and loving people from all walks of life. Tim's wife, Mary Ann works along side him ministering and training those that come for help. Deemed hopeless from extended drug abuse and surviving five mental institutions, Mary Ann was set free and healed miraculously and restored to a beautiful woman of God. Tim and Mary Ann are available to speak to your church or organization. Personal counseling and individual training are available upon request. Drug and alcohol addiction therapy is also available for adults and teens through support groups and referrals. For more information please contact us. ***Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits; Who forgives all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases, Who redeems your life from destruction, Who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies."   Psalms 103: 2-4***
